Feeds

Connect a product or content feed, check the live preview and the mapping, and keep it polling.

Steps

  1. Open Feeds. Each card shows the status, the item count, the last good poll and the next one.
  2. Change the poll interval or pause polling on the card.
  3. Press Add a feed and paste the URL: XML, CSV, JSON, RSS or Google Merchant.
  4. For a private feed, tick This feed needs a credential and give the header name and value.
  5. Press Fetch preview, check the detected format, the mapping and the first items.
  6. Press Save feed. Nothing is saved before you have seen the preview.

A feed is a URL that MagpieFeed polls on a schedule. Each card shows its status, how many items it holds, the last good poll and the next one.

Change how often it is polled, or pause it, right on the card.

To add one, press Add a feed and paste its address. XML, CSV, JSON, RSS, or a Google Merchant feed.

If the feed sits behind a token, tick This feed needs a credential, and give the header name and value. It is stored encrypted and never shown again.

Fetch preview reads the feed live. You get the detected format, the item count, and the field mapping, which you can correct before saving.

Below are the first items it read, with their real titles, prices and images. Nothing is saved until you press Save feed.
