Channels and Studio Mode

Choose where posts go and who holds the keys: MagpieFeed, your own app, or you, by hand.

Steps

  1. Open Channels. With nothing connected you are in Studio Mode.
  2. Under Where should posts go?, pick a platform.
  3. Under Who holds the keys?, choose managed, your own API credentials, or by hand.
  4. Press Connect. A managed channel opens the platform's own sign-in screen.

Channels decide how posts leave MagpieFeed. With none connected you are in Studio Mode. Every post is still rendered and captioned, and you share it yourself.

First, pick where posts should go.

Let MagpieFeed post for me opens that platform's own sign-in screen. MagpieFeed holds the token, and warns you before it expires.

Use my own API credentials is for agencies with their own app. The credentials are encrypted at rest.

I'll post by hand needs nothing connected. That is Studio Mode.
